HiCOM can be used as a diagnostic tool that can be used to read the normal values of data, locate faulty codes, erase erroneous codes, and execute programs. The program that is stored inside the device can be operated from the modem to the USB Connect box connector on the device. With new HiCOM, you can diagnose and service most cars (including Hyundais) with only a single interface cable.

HiCOM OBD2 interface is auto button connection, or manual button connection. In case of manual button connection, you may have to set a USB connection in the order menu by pressing the language menu and selecting USB as a connection method. If you use automatic button connection, you have to set operations by pressing a button on the connection box. For example, for automatic engine oil change function, connect only the button, and then press the START button, the oil pump will run for a few minutes.
